Season 3 (Episode 2)

In this episode the students were asked to reflect upon the learning opportunities that they have enjoyed during our first few weeks together. They have participated in field trips to Racing Against Drugs and You Dance, and they have created videos, podcasts, and comics using a variety of tools such as Animoto, Audacity, and Bitstrips. Their opinions are quite interesting and well thought-out.  Length: 7 minutes 30 seconds.

This past Thursday was our annual Curriculum Night, where parents have the opportunity to meet with teachers and listen to presentations about the learning that will take place throughout the year. A few students in our class wrote a brief commercial script welcoming parents to Curriculum Night, and then recorded their scripts for our official “audio” welcome message. They only had a few minutes to complete the entire process, and here’s what they came up with.
